Our Residential Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), also referred too as fixed wire testing or periodic inspection report, is recommended for homeowners or landlords that require compliance with BS:7671.

The service involves various checks, from plug sockets to light fixtures, to ensure your internal systems are compliant and safe to use. During the examination, we will identify any issues and provide a coded observation for each. Ranging in severity, these codes reveal any concerns that the testing engineer has discovered.
In order to achieve compliance, you will need to repair any C1, C2 and FI faults immediately, but rectifying all errors, even low-risk issues, is considered best practice. This full service typically takes between one and three hours to complete. Since full circuit testing is included within the service, our inspector will need to turn the power off within the property for the duration of the test. The circuit results and inspections will then be reviewed by our Qualifying Supervisor and once all aspects have been verified, a final report will be issued.
Under the Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020, landlords have 28 days to arrange any repair work, once an inspection has been carried out.
